Edit Settings

In this section the most important parameters you should consider changing are the admin password and user (change often for security reasons). Another one is the Check for newer version of WordPress every so many days, Max log age, Projects per page, Show blog statistics values.
You should change the number to 1 in the Check for newer version of WordPress every so many days if you wish to have wp managerdx check for newest version of WordPress each time it installs a blog.
If you don’t want for wp managerdx to check the latest version and keep the current one is using then set this value to 365 or more. As long is a lot of days.
Please note: If you wish to install an older version from the one wpmanagerdx package comes with then you need to visit the below page:
http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/
Look for the one you want and make sure you download the one with .tar.gz extension.
Ok now via ftp client or cpanel (file manager), connect to your host and look for /tmp folder where you have your wpmanager files in.
You will notice 2 files, one with the .tar.gz extension and another with .txt extension. Make sure you rename your WordPress archive you just downloaded to wordpress.tar.gz and upload to replace the one you have on your host. Then edit the wordpress.version.txt and change the version in there to the one you just downloaded, then save the file.
See illustration below:
Here are more things you might want to change as well:
Max log age: Enter the number of days you want to track the event log messages meaning it records each time someone logs into your wpmanagerdx admin area. I would suggest entering less than 5 so it will delete all of them every x amount of days and not fill your mysql database too much.
Owner email: This entry refers to the Manage Content Autoposter. This is the email address you will use for receiving the notification of when an Article posting project is completed. Refer to Manage Content > Settings section. (you will see where this feature can be turned off or on)
Projects per page: Enter the amount of records you want to be listed in List/Edit/Update Blogs, Add/Edit Profiles, Manage Plugins, Manage Themes and Pending Installs.
Show blog statistics: If you check this you will be able to see the post/comment/category counts of each blog when you go to the List/Edit/Update Blogs section. This may cause the page to load slowly.
Once you are done editing this section click the Update button to save settings.
